It really didn’t matter to Roberta Morris that Bill Kantor, her favourite high school teacher, couldn’t remember her.
“I didn’t think he would — he taught so many people. I’ve been a teacher and I know I’ve had to pretend when I ran into a student that I couldn’t recall.”
But 30 years later, Morris was determined to tell the former Clarkson Secondary School staffer that she made it a point to emulate his enthusiasm and supportiveness during her stint as a college teacher a few years back.
