MISSISSAUGA – Clarkson Secondary School is hosting an event this month to promote female empowerment.
The ‘Girls’ Night In’ event, which runs Feb. 17 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at Clarkson, will offer a wealth of useful seminars as well as two inspiring keynote speakers to all of the school’s female students.
Jamie McMillan, Toronto FC senior manager of player development, will set the tone with an uplifting talk about team work and the confidence needed to break through a man’s world of professional sports.
Her introductory talk at the second annual event will be followed by a keynote address given by T.K. Pritchard.
